Mr. Toft was the son of James and Mary Piper Toft, and was born October 1, 1886, at Pleasant Grove. He was married to Lillian Vandemark at Pleasant Grove on December 8, 1910. Mr. Toft was a member of Shiner Cumberland Presbyterian church and of the Farm Bureau.
