Description	:	PARK CITY — John Eisenbraun was suddenly taken from us on the evening of Aug. 8, 2012. John was born Jan. 14, 1959, in Hazen, N.D., to Frelin and Eldora Dschaak Eisenbraun. He attended school in Billings and graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1977. He married the love of his life, Sherry in July of 1979. John was born Jan. 14, 1959, in Hazen, N.D., to Frelin and Eldora Dschaak Eisenbraun. He attended school in Billings and graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1977. He married the love of his life, Sherry in July of 1979. One year later they had a son, Luke, followed by a daughter, Jennifer. In 2007, they adopted two boys, Chad and Cameron. John had many occupations during his short life. He was a meat cutter, refrigeration specialist, excavator, and most currently a mechanic at the smelter for Stillwater Mining. He was a man of many talents as a songwriter and musician. Those of us who have the privilege of hearing John sing and play his guitar know that he truly had a gift from God. John knew this as well and always gave God the glory for his music. For the past 10 years John and his wife Sherry have taken in numerous kids as foster parents. The young lives that John has touched is unmeasurable. No one will ever know how many lives he touched through his love and compassion. John will be missed by all who knew and loved him, but the hurt runs especially deep for his son Luke and dad Frelin. They all shared such a special bond and did everything together. Whether it was working together building houses or bow hunting in the fall, they were inseparable. He is preceded in death by his mother Eldora; grandparents Peter and Myrtle Eisenbraun, and Jake and Ella Dschaak. He is survived by his father, Frelin Eisenbraun; his wife of 33 years, Sherry; son Luke (Tannya) Eisenbraun and their children Ahna and Malachi; daughter Jennifer (Dan) Knox and their children Bryar, Brekkin and Alexander; sons Chad and Cameron; sister Linda (Graham) Barnes and their children Lynsi and Justin; mother in law Myrna Namen; sister in law Marsha and her daughters Chrissy and Jackie; brother in law Greg, his wife Becky and their daughters Karissa and Courtney; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Chapel in Laurel. Please join us for a celebration of John's life on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. at the First Congregational Church in Laurel, Mont. Interment will follow at the Laurel Cemetery.
