Description	:	Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Albion Friday afternoon for John G. Stalker whose death occurred at Kansas City, Tuesday, November 8. Rev. L. A. Hatch, pastor of the Church of God at Omaha conducted the services. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery. John G. Stalker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Stalker, pioneers of this community, was born at Wall Bridge, Ohio, November 21, 1871. He passed away November 8, at Kansas City, death being caused by a heart attack. He grew up in this community and lived here with his family... Stalker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Stalker, pioneers of this community, was born at Wall Bridge, Ohio, November 21, 1871. He passed away November 8, at Kansas City, death being caused by a heart attack. He grew up in this community and lived here with his family until 1925 when he moved to Omaha. In 1932 he moved to Kansas and shortly before his death located to Kansas City, Missouri. He was married October 11, 1899 to Florence Kunkrite, and to this union four children were born, Mrs. Ruth Ervin of Wakee, Jack who preceded his father in death, Mrs. John Sharp of Excelsior Springs, and Mrs. Sigurd Thompson of Kansas City. He was later united in marriage with Stella Sparhawk. To this union four girls were born, Josephine, Florence, Mary and Betty. Beside these he leaves to mourn his passing four brothers, Cap, Loren, George and Duncan; one sister, Mrs. Elmer Adams and many other relatives and a host of friends.
