Description	:	Memorial funeral services were held for John Wiley, 82, on March 24, 1990 at Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton. He died March 21 at a nursing home in Bloomfield. At his request, his body was donated to science. He was born October 27, 1907 to the late John and Bertha Wiley at Pierce. He was married to Helen Turek in 1931. One daughter, Zelma, was born to them. They farmed near Pierce for many years and later he was employed in construction work until his retirement. Mrs. Wiley preceded him in death in 1955. He died March 21 at a nursing home in Bloomfield. At his request, his body was donated to science. He was born October 27, 1907 to the late John and Bertha Wiley at Pierce. He was married to Helen Turek in 1931. One daughter, Zelma, was born to them. They farmed near Pierce for many years and later he was employed in construction work until his retirement. Mrs. Wiley preceded him in death in 1955. He later married Jeannette (Caley) Saunders of Creighton. After the death of his second wife, he married Victoria Braun of Creighton. She survives as do four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one sister, Clara Zaugg of Custer, SD; one stepson, Earl Holmes of Norfolk; 12 step grandchildren , 24 step great grandchildren and nine step great great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his first and second wifes, one daughter, five brothers; two sisters and one grandson, as well as his parents.
