Description	:	HOFF BURIED ON 79TH BIRTHDAY Polk Pioneer Dead at Daughters's Home. On his 79th birthday, the body of John Hoff will be borne from the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. R. Davidson, 1410 Clark street, to Wawkee, where it will be interred. Mr. Hoff came to Iowa fifty-fours years ago. Funeral services will be held at the home at 11:30 and at Waukee at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Mr. Hoff is survived by seven children, three sons, making their homes in the far west, and others in the immediate vicinity of Des Moines. One of the pioneer real estate dealers of the city, John Hoff, who has been a resident of Des Moines for over forty years, died yesterday morning at his home, 1410 Clark street. Mr. Hoff was a direct descendent of one of the Puritans who came to this country in the Mayflower. The funeral announcement has not been made, but it is possible that the services will be held this afternoon from the residence and that interment will be made in Woodland cemetery.
