Description	:	Many were surprised to hear of the death of Uncle John Henry, last Monday evening, who died after a very brief illness at the home of his sister Mrs. A. Rubleman, at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 13 days. John Henry was born Oct. 13, 1822, in Chester County, Penn. When one year old his parents moved to Cincinnatti, Ohio, and later on they moved to Madison, Ind. He came to Iowa in 1846 and settled at Ft. Rubleman, at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 13 days. John Henry was born Oct. 13, 1822, in Chester County, Penn. When one year old his parents moved to Cincinnatti, Ohio, and later on they moved to Madison, Ind. He came to Iowa in 1846 and settled at Ft. Madison, moving from there to the pineries in Wisconsin where he remained for three years then coming to Fremont Township in 1851, settling on a farm 5 miles southwest of Lone Tree. He was married to Sarah Wheeler Nov. 13, 1853. No children blessed this union. His wife died Oct. 2nd, 1891. He then moved to Lone Tree where he resided alone until last May when he went to the home of his sister Mrs. A. Rubleman where he resided until death. He was baptised in the Lutheran church in infancy and live up to that faith. He leaves to mourn his departure, one sister, four nieces, six nephews, other relatives and many friends. The funeral was held from the Rubleman home at 10 o'clock a.m. Wednesday and the burial took place in the Swank Cemetery. -The Lone Tree Reporter Friday, Dec. 30, 1904
