EMPLOYE DIES FUNERAL SERVICES OF JOHN HENRY JONES TO BE HELD TUESDAY. John Henry Jones, for forty years an employe of the Dain Manufacturing Co., first as superintendent of the plant and later as foreman of the machine shop, died Saturday night at 10:10 o’clock at his residence, 417 North Weller street. Jones was 71 years old, having been born in Kinderhook, Ill., November 1, 1858. He was superintendent at the Dain until 1911, officials of the company said, when he was made foreman of the machine shop, a position he held until December 1 of this year, when he was pensioned. He is survived by his wife and one son, Joe Jones of Ottumwa. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Daggett funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. A.A. Heath, D.D., pastor of the Main Street Methodist Episcopal church. The pallbearers will be William Parker, E. Randall, Rid McClelland, Barney Toms, Neil Meagher, Tom Meagher, and Louis Schaub. Burial will be made in Shaul cemetery.
