John Herman William Krueger, a son of Louis and Louise Krueger, was born on June 13, 1903, at Blue Hill, Nebraska. He was confirmed into the Lutheran faith on May 20, 1922. He came to Colorado with his parents in the fall of 1918. They first established their home at Amherst and later moved to Haxtun. Mr. Krueger was united in marriage with Ellen Peterson on June 14, 1927, at Holyoke. Two children were born to them, both of whom, with Mrs. Krueger, survive. They are Rita, 16, and Rickey, 6. Mr. Krueger also leaves his aged parents, who reside in Holyoke; two brothers, Oscar Krueger, Fleming, and Ewald Krueger, Brush; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Kent, Lawrence, Nebraska, Mrs. Helen Burns, Venango, Nebraska, and Mrs. Selma Burns, Amherst, and many other relatives.
