Description	:	"The Hagerstown (IN) Exponent, Thursday, January 16, 1908 John Replogle, aged almost 79 years, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Will Burgess, near White Branch church, Friday afternoon, after a protracted illness of a complication of diseases, heart trouble being the immediate cause of his death. The funeral services were conducted at the Brick church, Monday afternoon, Elders Lewis Teeter and Abram Bowman officiating. The remains were intered in the Brick church cemetery. The congregation sand 'Jesus, Lover of My Soul,' 'Some Sweet Day,' 'Come Unto Me When the Shadows Darkly Gather,' 'One by one... The pallbearers were Solomon Bowman, Frank Bowers, Abram Holler, David Werking, Sr., Emmet Moore and Eli Hoover. Five of the six children of Mr. Replogle were present, and were Mrs. Katharine Hoover of Bern, Pa., Mrs. Ida Deardorff, of North Dakota, Mrs. Daniel Bowman, of Adderson, Mrs. Will Burgess, of near this place and Mr. Lewis Replogle, of New York City. Mr. Replogle was for several years in the grocery business here, but his health failing he departed from business and had for ten years prior to his death, lived a retired life. Mr. Replogle was a man of sterling integrity and had may friends. He leaves a wide circle of relatives."
