The deceased was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania, on June 26, l827, being at the time of his death, 76 years, 9 months and l9 days of age. With his parents, MR. The deceased was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania, on June 26, l827, being at the time of his death, 76 years, 9 months and l9 days of age. With his parents, MR. BECK came to Decatur County in the spring of l855 and located in Grand River Township, where he resided until his death. His wife died a number of years ago, and he is survived by six children; MRS. ANNA GOLDEN, of O'Neil, Neb.; MRS. DALE FITZSIMMONS, of Council Bluffs; MRS. NELLIE RIGGS, of Des Moines; MRS. DOVIE BAKER (Margaret Estelle) of Grand River Township; SHERMAN BECK, who lives on the home farm and GEORGE BECK who is supposed to be somewhere in Wyoming. He is also survived by his three brothers, C.W. BECK, of Leon, and T.T. and T.L. BECK, of Grand River. Seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild are still living. The funeral services were held at the BECK home in Grand River Township on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, by Rev. Scott Jones, interment being in the Woodmansee Cemetery.
