Singing was by Mrs. John Divis and Ludmila Pazourek of Bee. The pallbearers were Raymond Hromas, James Mashek, Emil Mashek, Irvin Cidlik, Alfred Cidlik and Bernard Kobza. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery, Dwight. In attendance at the funeral from elsewhere were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hromas and son, Anna Hromas and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Walta, all of Waukomis, Okla. Mr. Hromas, a son of John and Elizabeth Vavak Hromas, was born in Saunders county Jan. 9, 1877, and came to Butler county and Dwight 47 years ago. He was married at David City April 30, 1901, to Anna Cidlik, who survives him with their son and daughter, Emil Hromas of Ulysses and Mrs. James Mashek of Ulysses. He also leaves six grandchildren, Doris Ptacek, Roslyn Cermak, Raymond Hromas, James J. Mashek Jr., Mary Ann Mashek and Emil Charles Mashek; one sister, Mrs. Mary Smutny of Seward; and four brothers, Joe of Dwight, Frank of Wauneta, Louis of Ulysses and Tom of Albany, Ore. Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters, Annie and Emily, of Milwaukee, Wis., and two brothers, Frank and James of Waukomis, Okla.
