Burial was made in the Hull Cemetery. Mr. Bomgaars was born at Orange City March 18, 1908, and resided all his life in Sioux County. Before accepting city employmment here in 1954 he had worked for many years as a mechanic at the Mouw Motor Company, and also had worked for several years as a mechanic at Hull. He was married to Edith Wallinga at Hull, Iowa, June 3, 1935. Besides his wife, he is survived by one married daughter, Joy. Mr. Bomgaars is pictured above with a small engine which he made in his leisure time last spring and winter. He is also survived by two grandchildren. Mr. Bomgaars had three brothers, Marinus, Gerrit and Arie, all of whom preceded him in death. He was a member of Central Reformed Church.
