Description	:	MR. J. KLINKER, one of our oldest pioneers died, at his home In Union township, Friday, March 2, 1888. He moved to Mahaska county in 1843 (note: this date was hard to read), and saw many of those hardships that go to make up frontier life. He was a much respected citizen, and most universally known; a member of church for more than 60 years. He was born In 1807.
