Mr. Jenkinson attended school at Ruth and married Bertha Darr Dec. 25, 1947 at Creighton. They farmed in the Ruth community until retiring and moving to Verdigre in 1970. Mrs. Jenkinson died April 17, 1971. He married Marie Kalal Sept. 30, 1972 at Verdigre. Surviving are his wife; three stepsons, Howard Darr of Urbanda, Mo., Neal Darr of Thornton, Colo. and David Darr of Lincoln; five stepdaughters, Helen Prischmann of Fergus Falls, Minn., Doris Volk of Battle Creek LaVern McCollun of Omaha, Norma Barta of Lynch and Darlene Colwell of Niobrara; 23 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Harry (Helen) VanHorn of Page.
