Description	:	Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier” John Joseph Flanigan, 52, of Morgantown, Ind., a former Ottumwan, died Thursday at 7 p.m. at Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind., of a heart attack. He was a long-time resident of Morgantown where he operated a restaurant. He was born Feb. 2, 1918, in Ottumwa, the son of Charles and Mary Flanigan. He was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Stratman celebrating a Requiem Mass. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery with American Legion conducting military services. Pallbearers will be Alan and Randy Croft, Stephen and George Bower, Kevin Kennedy, and James Schwartz. The Rosary will be recited tonight at 8 o’clock at Traul Funeral Home.
