Description	:	Husband of Vlinda John J. Lineaweaver, youngest child of John and Mary Lineaweaver, was born Nov. 4, 1844 in Londonderry Township, Lebanon county, Pa., and baptized the same year in the Lutheran church by Rev. W. Earnest. In 1847 with his parents, he moved to Iowa, coming on a steam-boat down the Ohio river to the Mississippi, and up that river to Keokuk, that being as far up as the boats came on the Mississippi at that time. Lineaweaver, youngest child of John and Mary Lineaweaver, was born Nov. 4, 1844 in Londonderry Township, Lebanon county, Pa., and baptized the same year in the Lutheran church by Rev. W. Earnest. In 1847 with his parents, he moved to Iowa, coming on a steam-boat down the Ohio river to the Mississippi, and up that river to Keokuk, that being as far up as the boats came on the Mississippi at that time. From Keokuk they had an ox team bring them up to Burlington, where they stayed for a time, but in the same year coming on to the farm near Bonaparte on Vernon Prairie where they spent the remaining years of their lives. He was married to Vilinda Bradford Jan., 24, 1871 and to this union two children were born , Leoti Vilinda and Amanda Harriet. He suffered a stroke of paralysis 1906 and has been a sufferer since that time; he passed peacefully to rest at eleven minutes after one o'clock Thursday afternoon, April 15, 1909, aged 64 years, 5 months, and 11 days. He was an energetic farmer, spending his years on the old home place. He was a kind and loving husband and father, an honest and upright man in business and a good neighbor. The funeral services were held at the home Sunday at 2 P. M.. Alfred Trenerry, of the Bonaparte Baptist church having charge of the services. The remains were laid to rest in the Willits cemetery. Note: John J is buried here, but his wife is buried in The Thompson Cem. which is just a short distance East of Wolf Cemetery.
