He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one daughter, Mary Sue Brown; and one sister, Lenna Chinn. Mr. McEwen was a member of the Leonard Christian Church. He had farmed in the Leonard community all his life. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, August 25, at 2:30 pm. at the Leonard Christian Church with Mark Engler officiating. Burial was in the Cherry Box Cemetery. Visitation preceded the service. Memorials may be made to the Cherry Box Cemetery.
