Description	:	Last Rites for Mr. and Mrs. John Cox - Mrs. John Cox, 63, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at the Fullerton Hospital, where she had been a patient since falling and breaking her hip the previous Saturday. Norris officiated at both services. burials were in the Cedar Rapids Cemetery. John Cox was born September 9, 1891 at Cedar Rapids, Nebr, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob W. Cox. He lived his entire life in that community. In 1942 he retired from farming and was an assessor for South Cedar Precinct for a number of years. He served as postmaster of Cedar Rapids for 2 1/2 years and was postal clerk for 1 1/2 years. He passed away November 26, 1956 at the hospital in Fullerton where he had been a patient for four months since suffering a stroke in July. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Dan and a twin brother, Guy. (Lillian's obit followed) Survivors include their eight children: five daughters, Mrs. Wm. Van, Wolbach; Mrs. Gertrude Kampman, Coffey, Missouri, Mrs. Morris Young, Albion; Mrs. Alvin Wagner, Belgrade; and Mrs. Ed Hellbusch of Lincoln; three sons, Dan Cox, Albion; Jack Cox, Lincoln, and Carroll Cox of Council Bluffs, Iowa, sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandson.
