The boy was accidentally shot in the leg last Sunday evening at the home. He was taken to the hospital Monday, but infection set in and he passed away Wednesday, although everything possible had been done to save his life. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, at the Christian church. The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, November 6, 1930 ================= John Junior Kramer, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kramer of this city, was born July 31, 1920, on a farm west of Nelson. About two years ago he moved with his parents to Nelson, and at the time of his death was in the Fifth grade in the public schools. He died as the result of an accidental gunshot wound on November 5th at six o'clock in the morning, at the Mary Lanning hospital in Hastings. Junior was at the time of his death, ten years, three months and five days old. He leaves to mourn his untimely death, his parents, on sister, Doris, one brother, Eugene, and two grandparents, besides a large number of other relatives and friends.
