Description	:	John L. "Jack" Craig, 76, of Minden died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at the Long Term Care unit of Kearney County Health Services. Services were held Tuesday at Minden United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Bill Hunter officiating. Burial was at Minden Cemetery with military rites by Minden American Legion Post 94. On Oct. 7, 1951, he married Jacqueline Stadler in Minden. Survivors include his wife; sons, Gregory and Dave, both of Minden; and daughter, Nancy Exstrom of Lincoln. Additional survivors include his daughter-in-law, Jane of Minden; son-in-law, Brad Exstrom of Lincoln; and grandchildren, Michala Petersen and husband, Mark, of Lincoln, Andy and Cade Craig of Minden and Whitney, Alicia, Samantha, Brianna, Dylan and Dominik Exstrom, all of Lincoln. He grew up in the Minden area and graduated from Minden High School. He attended Kearney State College and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He served in the U.S. Navy and returned to Minden. He and his wife lived in Minden. He worked at First National Bank in Minden for 38 years. He also was involved in other businesses in Minden for many years. He was a member of the Danish Brotherhood, a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge 127 in Minden, a member of American Legion Post 94 in Minden and a former member of the Minden Volunteer Fire Department, which he served as treasurer for many years. He was a 50-year member of the United Methodist Church in Minden. He enjoyed being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
