Description	:	John Lee Johnson, 77, of Windsor, KY, died at 10:20 AM Friday, May 27, 1994, in his home. He had been in failing health the past several years. He was born Nov. 22, 1916, in Frankfort, where he grew up. He attended Frankfort High School. He lived in Lafayette from 1935 to 1941, and again from 1962 to 1984, when he moved to Kentucky. His marriage was Nov. 7, 1943, in Lebanon, to Ina Jean Clemens; she survives. Mr. Johnson was a self-employed builder and contractor. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in the Aleutian Islands and Alaska. He was a member of American Legion Post 11 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1154, both of Lafayette. Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Janet (Mrs. Eugene) Sayers of Windsor, KY, and Mrs. Mary Ann Shamp of Lafayette; two brothers, Earl Johnson of Lafayette and Perry Johnson of Frankfort; four sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Weber of Zionsville, Mrs. Ruth Street, Mrs. Doris Hines, both of Frankfort, and Mrs. Ruby Hamm of Sebring, FL; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by five brothers and a sister. Service May 30, Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, the Rev.
