Description	:	The funeral for John Otte, 88, Downs, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Downs United Church, the Rev. Ivan Christoffersen officiating. Burial will be in the Downs Cemetery. Mr. Otte died Tuesday at the Mid-American Nursing Center, Downs, after a short illness. He was born July 20, 1892, on the family farm six miles northeast of Downs in Jewell County.
