John died on December 11, 1900, in Stanley, New Brunswick, having lived a long life of 85 years. Although Presbyterian John is Interred in the Anglican Cemetery with his wife Margaret who passed away in 1867. St Peters Presbyterian Church and Cemetery did not come into being until 1868. |
