Description	:	The Chattanoogan John Robert Eaton, 82, of Cleveland, Tn., died Saturday morning, Feb. 12, at the family residence. Mr. Eaton was the son of the late Lena Hunt Eaton and Archie Eaton; and was also preceded in death by his wife, Margie K. Eaton; his granddaughter, Christy L. Waters; his sisters, Mary Harold, Katherine Ellis and Viola Perian; and his brothers, Cecil, Charles and Lonnie Eaton. Read More	The Chattanoogan John Robert Eaton, 82, of Cleveland, Tn., died Saturday morning, Feb. 12, at the family residence. Mr. Eaton was the son of the late Lena Hunt Eaton and Archie Eaton; and was also preceded in death by his wife, Margie K. Eaton; his granddaughter, Christy L. Waters; his sisters, Mary Harold, Katherine Ellis and Viola Perian; and his brothers, Cecil, Charles and Lonnie Eaton. Mr. Eaton worked for a number of years with Tennessee Enamel and the Cleveland Housing Authority. After his retirement he worked as a self-employed Electrician and Plumber. He was one of the oldest Electricians to hold a current License in the State of Tennessee. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and tinkering with anything. Mr. Eaton was a 42 year member of the Old Pathway Baptist Church. He loved his Lord and his church! Survivors include his daughters, Martha J. Moats of Benton, Linda S. Tyler, Carolyn J. Kibble and Sharon A. Thurman and her husband Rick all of Cleveland; his eight grandchildren; his 13 great-grandchildren; his great-great-granddaughter; his brothers, Henry B. Eaton and his wife Linda and Jim Eaton all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. from the Old Pathway Baptist Church with Reverend Harold Cooper and Reverend Dudley Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The body may be viewed from 12-1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15 at the Church. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14 at the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who has charge of the arrangements.
