Description	:	John Roger Seaton was born to Faye Seaton. He was raised in Canton, Illinois, and attended school there until moving to Hyde Park, where he graduated from high school. He attended a pharmacology college, and served as a Pharmacist's Mate 1st Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy during World War II. John worked at Haley Beauty and Barber Supply Company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, before moving to Marshalltown in the early 1950's. He married Maxine Clara Fisher on July 7, 1957, in Marshalltown. He was raised in Canton, Illinois, and attended school there until moving to Hyde Park, where he graduated from high school. He attended a pharmacology college, and served as a Pharmacist's Mate 1st Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy during World War II. John worked at Haley Beauty and Barber Supply Company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, before moving to Marshalltown in the early 1950's. He married Maxine Clara Fisher on July 7, 1957, in Marshalltown. He worked for New York Life Insurance Company for 10 years, then at the Iowa Veterans Home, and later at the Marshall County Care Facility. He retired in 1974. John served as president of the Marshalltown Life Underwriters Association and was a member of the Frank Lewis Glick Post 46 of the American Legion. He passed away on Monday in Englewood, Florida. John is survived by his wife, Maxine Clara Seton, Marshalltown; 2 Children, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Charles. Visitation was Monday, February 14, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Pursel-Davis Funeral Home, Marshalltown. Funeral services were Tuesday, February 15, 1:30 p.m. at Pursel-Davis, with Rev.
