McCants, 66 of Lake City died early today at the home of his brother, Alton McCants, after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning from the graveside in Casselman cemetery, three miles west of Lake City, conducted by the Rev. Hillary Baldwin of Lake City. Mr. McCants, the son of the late Isaiah and Malinda McCants, was born and reared in the Camp Branch community, where he spent his entire life. He was engaged in farming. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Della McCants; three daughters, Mrs. Lila Young of Columbia, Mrs. Thomas Nickols of Columbia and Mrs. Mike Pappas of Washington; two brothers, Aaron McCants and Alton McCants of Scranton.
