Description	:	Their daughter wrote that John and Zua and their six children ages 1 to 17 came to Holyoke about December 1, 1907 and moved into a little sod house four miles south of Holyoke. They later bought a homestead of 160 acres sixteen miles southwest of Holyoke on the line between Yuma County and Phillips County for $75. They moved in January 20, 1908. Children were Clarence, Cora, Melvin, Bertha, Inda, Henry. Zua (Fite) Stecker and the children moved to Wray in 1910 so two girls and one son could attend school.
