Read More	Mr. John Thomas "Tommy" Adams, Jr., age 58, of 537 Old Pump Station Road, Union, SC, husband of Wanda Renae Vaughan Adams, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mr. Adams was born in Union, SC January 24, 1963, a son of the late John Thomas "JT" Adams, Sr. and the late Emily Horne Adams. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School. Mr. Adams was employed with Petroleum Transport Carriers as a truck driver. He was a member of Skull Shoals Baptist Church. Surviving family members in addition to his wife are a son, Heath Adams of Union and a daughter, Hanna Adams of Union, one sister, Rhonda Adams Keisler, his mother-in-law, Wanda Lockaby, a sister-in-law, Melissa McBride (Jerome), five nieces, Danielle Adams, Heather Adams (Donnie), Hailey Adams (Edward) Kacie Vaughan and Derrian Vaughan, two nephews, David Adams and Hunter Vaughan, great nieces and nephews, Zach, Lexi, Mason, Sydnee, Logan, Tanner, Ryder, Gabriel, Brantley, McKenzie, Drayton, Aiden and Ta'gan. Mr. Adams is also survived by special cousins, Kenny Adams, Wallace Harris and Buddy Harris and his special grand-dog, Axl. Mr. Adams was predeceased by his father-in-law, Floyd Vaughan and his brother-in-law, Ricky Vaughan. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 16, 2021, at Brown's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00am conducted by Rev. Ron Culberson. The family will hold a visitation from 10:00am until 11:00am at the cemetery prior to the services. Active pallbearers will be David Adams, Donnie Fallen, Edward Inman, Wallace Harris, Kenny Adams and Buddy Harris. The family request those in attendance please follow COVID-19 protocols by wearing a mask and social distancing. Memorials may be made to Brown's Creek Baptist Church, 110 Browns Creek Church Road, Union, SC 29379.
