Description	:	John W.Clore, Jr., of 1218 Windsor Rd., Harrisonburg, died Sunday evening, May 19, 1996 at his home following a lengthy illness. A son of Mrs. Hilda Thornhill Clore and the late John W. Clore, he was born on June 21, 1950 in Charlottesville and had formerly made his home in Roanoke prior to moving to Harrisonburg seven years ago. Mr. Clore graduated from Madison High School, Virginia Tech, and received his Masters Degree in Finance from George Washington University. Read More	John W.Clore, Jr., of 1218 Windsor Rd., Harrisonburg, died Sunday evening, May 19, 1996 at his home following a lengthy illness. A son of Mrs. Hilda Thornhill Clore and the late John W. Clore, he was born on June 21, 1950 in Charlottesville and had formerly made his home in Roanoke prior to moving to Harrisonburg seven years ago. Mr. Clore graduated from Madison High School, Virginia Tech, and received his Masters Degree in Finance from George Washington University. He served as Regional President for First Union Bank (formerly Dominion Bank) until his retirement due to his health. Mr. Clore was a member of the Harrisonburg Rotary Club, served on the Board of Blue Ridge Community College and was a member of the Harrisonburg Baptist Church. He was a veteran, having served in the Army. On March 11, 1978 he married Jean L. Clore, who survives him. Besides his wife and mother of Madison, Va., he is survived by two daughters, Leah K. Clore and Victoria E. Clore, both at home; and a stepson, Michael Seth Janssen of Charlottesville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Harrisonburg Baptist Church. Dr. Tom Reynolds will conduct the service and burial will follow in Hebron Lutheran Church Cemetery in Madison, Va. at 4 p.m., conducted by Dr. Reynolds and the Rev. Jim Baseler. Members of the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening at Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home. The casket will not be open to the public.
