Read More	John Rohe, 62 of Templeton, died early Tuesday morning, September 15, 2015 at his residence near Templeton. Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 4 p.m. on Thursday where there will be a rosary at 5 p.m. by the Templeton Knights of Columbus and a Christian Wake Service at 7 p.m. The casket will be moved to Sacred Heart Church in Templeton at 9:30 a.m. on Friday where visitation will resume until time of the funeral mass. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Born on August 12, 1953 at Carroll, Iowa, John was the son of Wayne and Esterlyn (Bluml) Rohe. He attended Sacred Heart Grade School in Templeton and later graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School with the Class of 1971. On September 1, 1973, John was united in marriage to Kathryn Hagen at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Emmetsburg, Iowa. John and Kathy made their home in the Dedham-Willey area, and in 1985 they moved to the Rohe Family Farm near Templeton where John farmed and later sold Pioneer Seed Corn. Most recently, John was employed with West Central Cooperative in Halbur. John was a member of the Templeton Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart Parish in Templeton. He was a past Eden Township Trustee and long-time 4-H Leader. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, camping, and backyard campfires. John had a deep devotion to his faith and his family. His greatest love was his family and especially cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. Left to celebrate his life is his wife, Kathy; his children: Eric and his wife, Heather, Sarah and her husband, Neil, Jill and her husband, Joe, Jake and his wife, Jennie, and Luke and his fiancée, Christina; his grandchildren: Sam, Lexi, Hannah, Josiah, Eli, Liddy and Leah; his sister, Kathy (Jeff); and his brothers-in-law: Tom (Karen) and Don (Brenda); and well as other extended relatives and many friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Jane Rohe.
