Description	:	From the St. Paul Republican, August 25, 1904, page 1, transcribed by Linda Berney: DEATH OF JOHN WASHA – John Washa died very suddenly at his home five miles east of St. Paul Sunday morning at about 11 o’clock. He was apparently in as good health as usual and the end came without a moment’s warning. Heart disease is supposed to have been the cause of his death. Upon emigrating to America he settled in St. Paul about fifteen years ago and was for a long time employed as teamster by the St. Paul Roller Mills. He purchased a farm east of town about two years ago and had since made it his home. He was an honest, hard-working man and a loyal citizen of his adopted country. He leaves a widow and a large family of children, several of whom are quite small. Mr. Washa was about 50 years old at the time of his death.
