Description	:	Mr. John Wayne Lambert, age 66, a resident of Junior, WV, departed this life Monday evening May 27, 2019 at his home. He had been declining in health but death was unexpected. He was born on March 18, 1953 at Elkins, WV, a son of the late Merritt Lee and Elsie Moore Lambert. He is survived by seven children; Gary Lambert and wife Debra of Elkins, Leslie Marie Welch of Junior, Cynthia Ann Nuzam and husband Kevin of Philippi, Christopher Lee Lambert of Junior, Wanda Sue Smith and husband James of Belington, Jason Allen Lambert and companion Crystal of Junior, and Michelle Dawn Williams and husband Adam of Junior, two brothers; Richard G. “Dick” Lambert of North Carolina and Raymond Jewel Lambert of Martinsburg, three sisters; Alice “Ann” Kittle of Philippi, Mary Louise “Sis” Watkins of Reedsville, and Linda Carol Patton of Pennsylvania, seventeen grandchildren; Alexander R. Williams, Eligh Williams, Daniel Williams, Kaitlin Lambert, Justin Lambert, Makayla Smith, Shaylin Smith, Joshua Smith, Brittany Lambert, Kyle Lambert, Courtney Nuzum, Kimberly Nuzum, Shane Nuzum, Sarah Jane Lambert, Jessica Lambert, Jacob Lambert and Jerimiah Welch, one great grandchild; Eden Miller, and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son; Carl Lee Lambert, one brother; Robert N. “Bob” Lambert, three sisters; Helen Smith Lambert, Kathryn Rose Delauder, and Charlotte Lee Roberts, one great grandchild; Crixus Phares. John was a graduate of the Philip Barbour High School and worked at various logging business and lumber yards. He enjoyed family cook outs and looked forward to seeing everyone at family gatherings. He loved to garden, camp and to ride his 4-wheeler and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends will be received from the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N Brandenburg Street in Belington on Friday May 31, 2019 from 12 pm-2 pm the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jimmie E. Tallman officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery near Junior Condolences can be sent to the family at www.talbottfuneralhome.com. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. John Wayne Lambert.
