Description	:	John Wesley Enearl was born June 15, 1854, at Ava, New York. He departed this life March 12, 1933. After receiving his education in New York, he moved to Illinois in 1876 and finally to Oak, Nebraksa, in 1879, where he both farmed and taught school. On the 10th of April, 1881, he was united in marriage to Mattie Covell of Illinois. His departure is mourned by his wife, five children: Mrs. C.R. Hall of Fremont, Mrs. Porter S. Storer of Nelson, Frank J. Enearl of Hastings, Mrs. Bertha Portwood and Loren Enearl of Nelson. Also surviving... Read More	John Wesley Enearl was born June 15, 1854, at Ava, New York. He departed this life March 12, 1933. After receiving his education in New York, he moved to Illinois in 1876 and finally to Oak, Nebraksa, in 1879, where he both farmed and taught school. On the 10th of April, 1881, he was united in marriage to Mattie Covell of Illinois. His departure is mourned by his wife, five children: Mrs. C.R. Hall of Fremont, Mrs. Porter S. Storer of Nelson, Frank J. Enearl of Hastings, Mrs. Bertha Portwood and Loren Enearl of Nelson. Also surviving are nine grand children, one sister, Mrs. J.T. Marr of Oak, Nebraska, ad (sic) one brother, E.D. Enearl of Long Beach, California, and many friends. As a young man Mr. Enearl united in membership with the Methodist church and transferred his membership to the Methodist church of Nelson, when he moved with his family to Nelson in 1906. Besides teaching school and farming, Mr. Enearl was County Assessor one term and was manager of the Nuckolls County Independent Telephone Company for nearly twenty years. The neighbors and friends of Mr. Enearl held him in very high esteem, a man of character, patience, kindness and consideration. Everything was always all right. In his months of confinement this was very characteristic. When death came, it came unexpectedly and as quitely as he had lived. Those sitting at his bedside were haardly (sic) aware of his departure.
