Father McCune, of Ottawa, died Wednesday evening, June 14th, aged seventy six years. Rev. Frank Evans preached the funeral sermon. Friday afternoon, after which a large number of people followed the remains to the Ottawa cemetery Mr. McCune was the father of six children all of whom preceded him to their graves, he leaves a wife and three grandchildren who have the sympathy of their many friends in their bereavement. He was a sincere Christian and bore, his sickness with great patience, believing in the ultimate triumph of the life beyond. |
