Mr. Minton was a native of Scotia, he lived all his life in Humboldt County, being raised in the Myers Flat and Miranda area. Mr. Minton was a graduate from South Fork H.S. in the class of 1937. He had been in the logging industry for 34 years, and had been a commercial fisherman for several years. Age 53. Friends are invited to attend services in the Chapel of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary, Saturday, Sept. 29, at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph R. Kidd officiating. Encryptment at Sunset Memorial Park, Eureka.
