He is survived by a sister Kay Bellamy of Gastonia, NC; and a brother, Bobby J. Smith and wife Susan of Lyman; a nephew Joe Smith and wife Tonya of Landrum; two nieces, Lisa Smith and fiancé Bill Schultz of Landrum and Emily Bellamy and fiancé Jason Biddix of Gastonia, NC. Billy loved his great-nieces, Mackenzie and Olivia Smith and great-nephews Eli Smith of Landrum and Jaydon and Evan Biddix of Gastonia, NC; many aunts and uncles; and his fiancée, Cindy Sain her children and grandchildren. Cindy was the love of Billy’s life. Billy was an outdoors person who loved all animals especially (Dog & Runt)) and was a kid at heart. We the family would like to say to Cindy "Thank You" for loving and taking care of Billy during his sickness and for being there with him when he needed you the most. Also a special thank you to Houston & Teresa Hunt along with Coy & Betty Taylor for their support; and to the Hospice nurses and aids who cared for Billy as well. Billy will be missed and loved dearly. (P.S. We’ll do cart wheels later……Love Kay). Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday at the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00 Noon prior to the service. The interment will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.
