Description	:	John William Hogueison was born January 13, 1941 in Atlantic, Iowa to Laura (Buckley) Hogueison and Raymond Hogueison. He was one of six children; his brothers Ed and Jim and sisters Judy, Linda, and Janet. John graduated from North High in Omaha, NE. In September of 1960, John married Gloria Hoober. They had six children; Tammy Jo (who only lived one day), Debbie, Scott, Jeff, Tim and April. Read More	John William Hogueison was born January 13, 1941 in Atlantic, Iowa to Laura (Buckley) Hogueison and Raymond Hogueison. He was one of six children; his brothers Ed and Jim and sisters Judy, Linda, and Janet. John graduated from North High in Omaha, NE. In September of 1960, John married Gloria Hoober. They had six children; Tammy Jo (who only lived one day), Debbie, Scott, Jeff, Tim and April. On November 19, 1975, John and Susan Krieger were married at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Omaha, NE. John and Susan had two daughters, Megan and Kaitlin. After living a short time in Elkhorn, NE, they made their home in Glenwood, IA. John’s passion was antique vehicles, in particular Volkswagens. He was never happier than being in the garage working on one of his cars. His prize possessions were his 1968 Karmen Ghia convertible and his 1927 Type 35A Bugatti kit car. He loved going to the Omaha Show and Shine and won several awards. John was a diesel mechanic and worked for TransCon, Neary International, and Select Van and Storage before retiring in 2009. John fought a long battle with Alzheimer’s. John was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Laura, his sister Judy, his brother Ed, infant daughter Tammy, his father-in-law Rod Krieger, and brother-in-law Roger Krieger. He is survived by his wife Susan; his children: Deb (David), Scott, Jeff, Tim (Michelle), April, Megan, and Kaitlin; mother-in-law Eleanor; sisters Janet, and Linda; brother Jim; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.
