Louis Aden of Hemet, Calif., Gerald Zegers of Elgin, Ernest Helgoth, John Peters, Matthew Theewen and Harold Zegers, cousins of John Zegers, were the pallbearers. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery, David City. Relatives from elsewhere in attendance at the funeral were Mrs. Emma Aden and son, Louis, from Hemet, Calif., George Zegers and son, Gerald, from Elgin, and Mrs. Robert Brown and daughter from Gresham. John Zegers was born near Garrison July 13, 1906, and lived in Butler county all of his life. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Zegers, one sister, Mrs. Adolph Schadegg, and three brothers, Louis, Lawrence and Francis Zegers. ________ Card of Thanks - We extend to the good friends who were so kind during the illness and at time of death and funeral of our dear son and brother, John, our heartfelt thanks, also our sincere thanks for the floral tributes.
