Description	:	Funeral services for John S. Youngkin, 88, of Monroe, a long time resident of Jasper County, were held Monday at the First Baptist Church in Monroe. The Rev. Eldon Pals, pastor of the church, conducted services. Burial was in Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg. Survivors are two sons, Elzy Youngkin of Des Moines and Roy Youngkin of Salem, Ore.; a daughter Mrs. Wanda Miner of Des Moines; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie, Mar. 18, 1974; a daughter in infancy; a grandchild; a brother; and a half-brother. Read More	Funeral services for John S. The son of Elzy (Elza) and Sophia Lemke Youngkin, he was born Jan. 12, 1888 at Craig, Neb. He was married to Flossie Reed November 27, 1919.
