He is survived by his wife, Jackelene Shepherd, Silver Lake, IN; two sons, Johnie Wayne (Sandra) Shepherd, Silver Lake, IN and James Cephus Shepherd, Warsaw, IN; three brothers, Chester Shepherd, Silver Lake, IN, Joe Shepherd, Silver Lake, IN and Jeff (Vicki) Shepherd, North Webster, IN; four sisters, Mrs. Cecil (Ocie) Shumaker, Akron, IN, Cynthia Harmon, Wabash, IN, Mrs. Junior (Thelma) Jackson, North Manchester, IN and Mrs. Gary (Avenell) Smith, Akron, IN and four grandchildren. Four brothers and two sisters are deceased. Family and friends may call Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Service Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Terry Canfield will officiate. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake, IN.
