He was born March 11, 1957, to Richard Joseph and Pauline Lillian Birge Snoddy. Survivors include his wife, Vickie Snoddy; his daughter, Stacy (Greg) Dudley of Russellville; granddaughter, Abigail Kathleen Ledford of Russellville, and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be announced at a later date and arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. Obituary provided by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville, Pope County, Arkansas Obituary published February 2021 Johnny Snoddy, age 63, of Russellville went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, January 15, 2021, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born March 11, 1957, to Richard Joseph and Pauline Lillian Birge Snoddy. Johnny loved his time on the road as a flat-bed trucker. He enjoyed studying his Bible, fishing and spending time with his family, especially Abby, who was the apple of his eye. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father, Brooks Whiteside; three brothers, Jimmy Snoddy, Danny Snoddy and Jonah Ray Snoddy; a sister, Peggy Deeds; two brothers-in-law, Butch Anderson and Paul Williams; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Bonnie Meimerstorf; and several step-brothers and step-sisters. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Vickie Snoddy; his daughter, Stacy (Greg) Dudley of Russellville; granddaughter, Abby Kathleen Ledford of Russellville; two sisters, Syble Anderson of Russellville and Linda Gunn of Clarksville; brother-in-law, Tim (Janice) Meimerstorf; nephew, Rusty Meimerstorf; and several nieces, nephews and many friends; and his little dog, Charlie. A family conducted memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021, in the parking lot of East Point Baptist Church. Burial will be private for the family in East Point Cemetery. Arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Truckers Against Trafficking, P.O. Box 816, Englewood, Colorado 80151, Russellville Animal Shelter, 3115 South Mobile Avenue, Russellville, Arkansas 72802 or East Point Baptist Church, Building Fund, 4435 Mill Creek Rd, Russellville, Arkansas 72802. Honorary pallbearers will be David Metz, Don Hale, Scott Beam, John Griffith, Jr., Michael Ledford, Dillion Cooper, Leighton Alexander and Jimmy Parish.
