Hill of Raymond and Jeffry R. (Joett) Hill of Idaho Falls, ID and brother Bernard Price of Taber. She was predeceased by her husband, Arledge; son, Michael Arledge Hill and brother, Darwin Price. She has 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. She was born December 15, 1920 in Taber to Edwin Hall Price and Hazel Agnes Hammer Price. When she was 8 years old the family moved to Raymond so that her father could work for the Canadian Sugar Factories. In 1941, Jolayne served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the North Central States mission, spending most of her time in the Regina, Saskatchewan area. After her mission, Jolayne worked in Calgary for 3 years as a dental assistant. While there she met and dated her husband-to-be, Arledge. They dated for 5 months and their marriage was solemnized on November 15, 1945 in the Cardston Temple. They settled in Raymond where Arledge worked for the Canadian Sugar Factories and where they raised their family. Jolayne loved people and she served them in her home, church and community. She loved the "gang" and the wonderful friendships and memories they created together. She loved to travel, cook, decorate for weddings, Lake Blaine, MT, golf, backgammon, and scrabble. She loved to win! She loved her grandchildren and great grandchild. She loved being the "Queen of the Cul de Sac." She brought a graciousness and dignity to life and even a little spunk. Funeral Services will be held at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Raymond Stake Center on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Ron Fromm officiating.
