Description	:	WATERVILLE - Joseph A. Marshall, MD, 94, died Monday, April 25, 2016, at Thayer Center for Health, Waterville. He was born in Waterville on Feb. 16, 1922, the son of Joseph Augustus and Lena (Castonguay) Marshall. Dr. Marshall was a graduate of Waterville High School, Colby College, and attended Dartmouth College, and received his Medical Degree from Tufts School of Medicine in Boston. Dr. Marshall was in private practice as a General Surgeon and associated with Thayer Hospital in Waterville. He held a fellowship with the American Medical Association and was a member of the College of Surgeons.... Read More	WATERVILLE - Joseph A. Dr. Marshall was a veteran and served in the U.S. Military during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was predeceased by his parents; Wife, June and brother David Marshall. Dr. Marshall is survived by two daughters, Jan Marshall Johnson and her husband, Gary of Richmond, Va. and Joanne Marshall Hopkins and husband, Scott of Memphis, Tenn.; a grandson, Major Matthew Hopkins of the U. S. Air Force and a granddaughter, Hannah Hopkins. At Dr. Marshall request all services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm Street, Waterville.
