On the 17th.September 1878 he married Katherine Erbacher at the German Lutheran Church in Toowoomba, Queensland. They moved to Charters Towers where Joseph worked as a Mine Watchman. He was also a Lutheran Clergyman. He died at Charters Towers District Hospital after a long and painful illness, according to the Northern Miner newspaper. |
