Description	:	When "The Tombstone Inscriptions of Brown County, Ohio," vol. 1 was published, the authors wrote about Mount Zion Cemetery: "This old church cemetery is located on Mt. Zion Road, off Route 756 in the extreme western section of the township. Many fieldstones apparently marking graves were found near the foundation of the church. We had to unearth many stones in order to copy them, and cannot be certain all were found in the dense undergrowth. Copied March, 1964" (p. 158).
