Description	:	May 28, 1914 - Joseph Busche passed away at his home Saturday, May 16th, after an illness of nearly three years. Although it was known for some time that he had but a short time upon this world the final end came like a shock. The cause of death was due to heart trouble and cancer of the stomach of which he has been a constant sufferer for the past three years. Read More	May 28, 1914 - Joseph Busche passed away at his home Saturday, May 16th, after an illness of nearly three years. Although it was known for some time that he had but a short time upon this world the final end came like a shock. The cause of death was due to heart trouble and cancer of the stomach of which he has been a constant sufferer for the past three years. Mr. Busche was well liked by all whom came in contact with him for his honest dealings and pleasant ways. He has been a resident here for over thirty years although Mr. Busche never held office, he took an active part in all county political affairs. In 1904 he moved to Okarche, Oklahoma, but the following year removed back to Mt. Carmel where he resided on his farm ever since. He was a member of the Catholic church at Mt. Carmel and received the last rites before death. He was well prepared to meet his Maker. Joseph Busche was born September 24, 1801, at Suska, Germany. He was at the time of death 52 years, 5 months and 22 days old. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Joe Naberhous in 1855 at St. Mary's church at Mt. Carmel. To this union four children were born of which one girl Agnes, died in infancy. He leaves his wife, three sons, John, at Okarche, OK, George and Frank at home and seven sons and daughters of his wife. Henry and Kate, at home, Bernard, Joe at Okarche, Oklahoma, Lizzie, Mrs. Henry Ludwig, and Mary and Anna, Sisters at the convent at La Crosse, Wisconsin. The funeral services were held from St. Mary's church at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday and were conducted by Rev. Father Huesman. Interment was made at St. Mary's cemetery.
