Description	:	Joseph Fettig, 86, Baron's Home for the age, Mandan, died in a Mandan hospital Thursday night. He had been hospitalized a few days and had made his home at Baron's for the past two years. Born March 3, 1863, in Odessa, Russia, the son of Anton and Marjorie Burkhardt Fettig. He married Mary Fritz in Russia in 1886. In 1895, he married Barbara Schaeffer there. Mr. Fettig came to the United States in 1912 and resided in Burleigh County for 40 years. Born March 3, 1863, in Odessa, Russia, the son of Anton and Marjorie Burkhardt Fettig. He married Mary Fritz in Russia in 1886. In 1895, he married Barbara Schaeffer there. Mr. Fettig came to the United States in 1912 and resided in Burleigh County for 40 years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the City of Bismarck. Mr. Fettig was a member of St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral. Two wives and one brother proceeded him in death. He leaves the following sons and daughters. Valentine, Joseph and Mrs. Edgar Rubidou; all of Minneapolis; John, of Rubgy; Mrs. Henry Rickard, in John Day,Oregon; Mrs. Charles Morris, in Tennessee; Mrs. Joe Zahn, in Washington; Thomas J., in Bremerton, Washington; Francis, of Bismarck; Anton, in Portland, Oregon; and Wendelin in Fargo. He also leaves two brothers, Sylvester, of Richardton; and Thomas, in Dickinson; and one sister, Mrs. Eva Hoch, of Rugby. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral with the Rev. Matthew Fettig, in Strasburg, nephew of the deceased, celebrating the quiem high mass. Burial will be made in St. Mary's Cemetery. the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday by relatives and friends in the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home, where the body is lying in state.
