Read More	Joseph Glenn Collins October 29, 1928 - March 23, 2021 Joseph Glenn Collins, loving father, and grandfather passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 92. He was born on October 29, 1928, to the late Annie Adkins Collins and the late Chappie Collins in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years Margaret Arnn Collins. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, during which he was stationed in Germany. Joseph is survived by his daughters Peggy Moore (Donnie) of Chatham, Virginia, and Patti Reynolds of Callands, Virginia; his sisters Margelene Arnn of Chantilly, Virginia, and Shelvadene Reynolds of Chatham, Virginia; his grandchildren Brandon Reynolds (Emily), Rachel Reynolds (Ben), Daniel Moore (Sabrina), Rebecca Gatewood (Nicholas), and Sarah Moore (Jason); and his great-grandchildren Lainey Brooke Reynolds, Leah Reynolds, Caroline Moore, Chloe Moore, Logan Reynolds, and Hunter Reynolds. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his son-in-law Brad Reynolds; his brothers Wright Collins and Eddison Collins; and his sisters Wadie Thornton and Virginia Nuckols. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Daryl Joyce officiating. The family will receive friends at his home, 18392 Franklin TPKE, Callands, Virginia, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 25, 2021. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Liberty Baptist Church, to the Callands Volunteer Fire Department, or to a charity of your choice. Norris Funeral Services, Inc. & Crematory, Mt. Hermon Chapel, 3995 Franklin Tpke., Danville, Va. is respectfully serving the Collins family.
