Description	:	Joseph Goodsell was born in Canada, July 13, 1826. He was married and moved to Minnesota, where he lived till the spring of 1878, when he moved to Nebraska and settled on a farm, three miles northeast of Fairmont. To them were born eight children, two sons and six daughters. On daugther is buried in Kansas, one son in Minnesota; the wife, two daughters and one son here. Three daughters are still living, one in Wisconsin, one in Minnesota and one in California. Mr. Goodsell was a member of the M.E. church for many years.... Read More	Joseph Goodsell was born in Canada, July 13, 1826. Last July, he went to Excelsior, Minnesota to live with his daughter. He has been quite feeble for several years but was sick only a short time before his death which occurred November 7, 1903. The remains arrived here Wednesday evening and were taken in charge by Dennis & Kelley. The funeral occurred from the M.E. Church Thursday at 10 a.m., Rev. Brooks officiating, assisted by Rev.
