Flohr retired in 1975 after 28 years of employment as a handyman for Archie Cochrane Motors. He died Wednesday afternoon in Western Manor Nursing Home at age 71. A member of the Moose Lodge, he was born in Lefer, N.D.. a son of Carl and Magdalena Flohr, and raised in Mott, N.D. He moved to Roundup, MT. in 1945 to work in the coal mines. After being injured in the coal mines, he moved to Billings in 1948. Mr. Flohr loved his grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, Chuck of Billings, and Gary of Billingham, WA.; two daughters Marlene Esser of Miles City, and Vi Hartung of Billings; a brother Frank Kreiter of Dickinson, N.D.; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Friday in Michelotti Sawyers Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, in Billings, MT.
